What's the difference between gold filled, gold vermeil and gold plated jewelry? This is by far one of the most common questions that I get so I wanted to answer it in as clearly as possible!
So let's jump in, to start out with all three of those terms refer to gold jewelry that is not made of solid gold. I started out by writing all of the similarities and differences down only to realize that the best way to display this is in a nice clean chart. (Which I then tried typing out and that wasn't working either so it was back to the drawing board... literally!

Thickness of Gold, Production, Base Metal, Cost, Longevity
